Some useful links for Bode Plots tests:
GND, testpoint A and B (these points are normally a low resistance resistor placed on the feedback loop.
It is necessary to adjust some features on the software provided by the equipment, for example, filters, attenuators, number of samples, etc. so that you can have a "clean" trace. After the switching frequency it will always be oscilated. An example is this:
Some things need to be measured on the software provided:
- Phase margin - on the point that the gain crosses 0 db, what's the frequency? Should be bigger than 45deg.
- Gain margin - on the point that frequency is 0 degrees, what's the magnitude? Should be bigget than 10dB.
- Crossover frequency - frequency where the gain reaches 0dB. Should be bigger than 1kHz.
